Just a little background on my passion for the business over the past 26 years.
I am a second generation restauranteur, growing up in the business in Rochester N.Y. working for my parents, Joe Sr. and Claire. My first job at the age of 8 was standing on a milk crate breading chicken, I felt like the luckiest kid in the world, working side by side with my father for the next 10 years.
After leaving college at the age of 21, I opened my first restaurant "Pizza Station" with a college chum, which is still owned and operated by Howie.
At 26 I did a joint venture with my dear old dad "Gatson's Ristorante" where I was head chef.
Next at the ripe old age of 29 my passion for sports led me to open my first sports bar " J.G. Crummer's Pub & Grille" which I owned and operated for 15 years along with "The Otter Lodge" an upscale "Tapas" restaurant and bar.
Tired of the cold, my wife Debbie, daughter Christie, son Kyle, and I picked up and moved to Florida where I opened "Cugini Steakhouse & Martini Bar", located in beautiful downtown Delray Beach, which I operate with my wife Deb.
That's where I met my best friend and parter Terry Woods and his daughters Dani and Brit.
So that's my story, and once again welcome to "Alabama Joe's Front Row"
